I admit, I loved the BUY ONE GET ONE FREE deal and brought home 4 bags tonight. But, I also admit that I didn't do my homework as I should have first.
I bought the Cool and Lite for my easy keeper. I have her on platnium performance..so basically, she needs very little grain. Currrently on PP plus a cup of oats, timothy pellets, rice bran and beet pulp
And I bought Fibergized Omega for my older TB (Currently on Blue Seal Performance LS)
A friend of mine had given me a Pennfield Fibergized Omega sample at the barn and my horses loved it....so, I thought I'd take advantage of the BOGO sale.
Well....here's my concern. I couldn't find the NSC anywhere online...so I called the company tonight, they put in touch with a rep...very nice, informatiive.
NSC in the FO is 24 percent and the NSC in the CL is 32 percent. I have to say that I panicked...she told me that because it is a condensed high fat, low starch feed that it isn't as bad as it sounds.
I would love some insight from anyone who is currently feeding either of these two feeds.
