I tried to get my mare to eat it, but she refused. I tried everything. The HorseTech people were great, they sent me flavored powder, etc, but nothing worked. I do think it is a good supplement, though. I hope you have better luck!

I haven't used Reitsport, but have used Horsetech's Glanzen. They're great supplements. My horse eats them up fine, and she's got great hooves and a shiny coat.

I tried it on Tiki because it's such a complete supplement with a good reputation. He refused to eat it in spite of all my best efforts and tricks, including the company's flavorings. I think he didn't like the bran or whatever it is that the stuff is mixed in. Also, you have to feed quite a large amount of it.
I hope your guy likes it! :)

I feed Horsetech products and have had great luck feeding them to picky eaters by mixing with beet pulp. Without the beet pulp it is just to easy to sift the flax based product out of the feed.

I have used Reitsport for about 4 years now. I don't get the one with HA in it though. I like the product alot, I get a ton of complements on my horses coat, and my farrier has to come every 5-6 weeks or so because he has great hoof and mane/tail growth.
I have never had a problem getting my horse to eat it. I am now adding BP in for weight gain, but before that it was just timothy pellets and the reitsport and he never turned it down.
If you don't buy it, can you let me know where you can get it half price? I would definitely snap it up because I am feeding it already!
