View Full Version : Was there someone looking for a chestnut QH mare/pony in PA who was sold?

I only somewhat remember the details. The pony had been at Hunter's Run and it was a chestnut mare with a blaze. I cannot recall, but perhaps this is the pony...
I might be WAY off the mark, but I thought I'd at least post in the hopes that it was the same pony.

I remember her looking for her pony on this and another forum. I felt so bad for her. I looked up her pony's pic in her profile, and she doesn't have all four white stockings. She has two hind stockings and the right front stocking. I keep an eye out for her. It would be nice for her to connect with the new owners.

Thank you so much for thinking of me and my pony (Fancy), as it was me. But this is not my mare. I got my hopes up, to be honest, but no not here. Sounds just like her (although I don't know that Fancy would ever be "soured" of English - she is a jumping machine). She is Barrel Racing in PA now, though.
Thanks again, yes 3 white socks, big white blaze, but the blaze ends in a diagonal line at the nose, not covering the whole nose. She also has a scar across her blaze between her eyes.
Thanks again, it's been about a year and a half since I sold her, and I still cry about it. Worst mistake I ever made. Ashley at Hunter's Run is not very cooperative about helping me out with connecting with the new owners.

Oh ponies123, I am sorry to have gotten your hopes up. I had forgotten exactly what the pony looked like but remembered some of the details and have been looking for you ever since. I'll continue to do so.

No apology needed, just so thankful there are people out there still thinking of me! Fancy is young still and I pray that somewhere down the line she has ended up in good, caring hands of someone that will reunite us one day. No words for the impact she has left on me, but I guess this is the one place I don't need the words - you all understand.
That is Fancy. I don't know if she is called that, I believe her barn name may be "Ruby" now. We showed her as Ruby Slippers, her AQHA name is Crimson Rapt. She is 9 years old, 14.1 1/4 hh. Again thank you thank you.

Hope you are able to find her~ I remember when my friend Nat first "found" her about 5 or 6 years ago. She originally had been out west on a ranch if I'm not mistaken, before she got her as a project from Kevin Scott here in SC. :)

Yes! I have spoken to Nat a few times about her, from what she told me she really enjoyed Fancy as well. My ex-trainer had her on consignment for Nat and that's where I ended up with Fancy. No matter how it's turned out, I'm certainly glad Nat had the foresight to pick her out, she gave me a ton of happiness over the time I owned her (and a ton of frustration - she IS a redhead pony mare ;)).

The original thread on this pony had gotten contentious and was removed, so we copied the OP from that thread, and one of the updates from this one, into a new thread (http://www.chronicleforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=223200)in our Missing Horses forum, as a reference.
Folks can find and contact the OP easily that way and she can add updates if there are any.
