View Full Version : Where to get Journeyman's if you don't live close to VA

Hello all,

Mods, if this doesn't fit here, please move it, this forum just seems to be the one where I've noticed the most talk of these.

I really, really miss my old chaps which no longer fit and would LOVE a custom pair (especially with winter fast approaching, ugh). From reading on here, it seems that Journeymans are the way to go, but I'm no where close to VA, I live in SE MA! So, is there any way to get a pair without actually going there?

Thanks in advance!!

I don't know about your area specifically, but you might try calling around to some tack shops. I had my current pair of Journeyman's ordered through a local tack shop (that is now unfortunately out of business). They did the measurements, had all of the leather samples available, and helped me come up with a great design with double piping, fringe, and embroidery on the waist. I don't know what I'll do when I need a new pair!

Not sure about MA either but if you can get to NY or CT, go to Beval Saddlery...I got mine measured there, they are perfect...
