Anybody heading to Copper Meadows this weekend?

My older dd is moving her boy up to prelim, the pony clubber who rides my dd's mare is going to her first recognized ht & a couple more kids from the barn are going for their first time. My dd's horse is a huge (18 hands) black hanoverian with a white face & the pclubber is riding a red mare. Friday I'll be pretty much tied to the arenas or the barn as my scooter is in the shop & won't be done till Fri but Sat & Sun I'll be tooling around on my honda ruckus. If you see us, holler HI!

Not going, staying home to teach. Barn sent 5 down yesterday, 3 intermediates and 2 prelims. My big guy has decided that he is too accident prone to event so is going to be a dressage pony instead, and there is no way I am hauling a 4 year old over 10 hours for a show. I'll be at Twin though!

Not sure if dd is going to Twin - she's mentioned it, but school sometimes interferes; she's a teacher. She used to have a principle that evented, but not at the school she is now. How all your guys do well!

Well, the big black horse had the most relaxed dressage test he's ever had - but not enough for the medium canter & his rein-back needs a lot of work. She also had one error (posted instead of sat second trot diagonal) but we were really happy with the test over all. Sitting 2nd with a 38.5. The pony club kid on the red mare had a test that went between brilliant and sucky - sometimes in the same movement. But I was really pleased as she finally got the mare truly connected for the first time. The mare was really looky, too, but the kid rode her very tactfully & kept her on the ground. Don't have her score yet - I had to come home. Cross country where they go from warmup to the box? I'll look for you! I video from out on the road as I can't take my scooter on course, but I'll hunt you down! I'll be in Payton purple with Miss Moo socks, long skirt (can't be in the sun), a hat & gloves & on my Ruckus.
