TN people-

Have you ever heard if a $45 fee will open PWP for a day for schooling? The day my friend and I were going to go in August, didn't work out. :( She said she had always heard from trainer/friends/people that if you pay PWP a $45 fee, they'll open the cross-country part up for the day? Has anyone ever done this, or heard from a reliable source that it's true?

Permits for use of the Equestrian Center can be obtained at the Warner Park Headquarters at 50 Vaughn Road, (615) 370-8051.

Thanks! Do you happen to know how much the fee is? It would just be two of us.

I'm thinking its $100. If my brain is remembering correctly, 8 of us rented it last year at $12.50 a piece. Beech Grove Hunt is offering three schooling days this month. You can google them and find the flier.

Thanks eponacowgirl! That would be very fun, but I don't think we'll be able to pay the $100 till we find more people. :/ I'm hoping her neighbor will want to go, and maybe some people from the barn. Thanks for the heads up, I'll check that out too!

I believe the course closes 6 weeks before MTPC HT. Not sure if this means no schooling at all on the course, or if it means it is a breach of the rules for a competitor or competing horse to school. You might want to check...

I am fairly certain the course is closed until after MTPC.

The fee is based on number of horses. If you live in Davidson Co., it is $50 for 1-3 horses, $75 for 4-6, and $100 for 7-10. IIRC.
