Custom helmet cover help - nylon, satin or lycra???

I'm treating myself to a custom helmet cover. However, I have NO idea what fabric to get. anyone have one they love/hate in any fabric?

I'm likely ordering from Bit of Britain... They told me the lycra can get "pills" on it because of the texture of my CO skullcap. But the nylon may be harder to get on/off my helmet? I will likely just use this for XC, I have an IRH I can wear to showjump.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!

Please no shiny lycra.

Many riders have ones from Sipps silks - I think it's the satin or the nylon, but is pretty flat-looking rather than being shiny, and looks great.

My hat silk is made from satin. :)

Mine is nylon from Sipps and it's great! You just have to tell them the make, model and size of your helmet.
