It's been a long time since I've been able to order pictures from a horse show. But I recently did the Rhode Island Eq Championships and have decided to treat myself to a few pictures...as if I'm not broke enough already. I plan on getting one o/f and one awards picture.
Here are the pictures:
Probably making a ridiculous face, but its hard to tell. (http://www.harryjwendtphotography.com/2009%20Rhode%20Island%20Equitation%20Finals/album/Adult%20Mini%20Classic/slides/R9-0208.html)
These proofs put a damper on things, I wish they were more transparent! (http://www.harryjwendtphotography.com/2009%20Rhode%20Island%20Equitation%20Finals/album/Adult%20Mini%20Classic/slides/R9-0209.html)
I hate that I am making such a terrifying face in this one! Otherwise, this would be the one I order, hands down (http://www.harryjwendtphotography.com/2009%20Rhode%20Island%20Equitation%20Finals/album/Adult%20Mini%20Championship/slides/R9-0565.html)
Plain Jane fence (http://www.harryjwendtphotography.com/2009%20Rhode%20Island%20Equitation%20Finals/album/Adult%20Mini%20Championship/slides/R9-0564.html)
Awards one (http://www.harryjwendtphotography.com/2009%20Rhode%20Island%20Equitation%20Finals/album/Adult%20Mini%20Championship/slides/R9-0623.html)
And two (http://www.harryjwendtphotography.com/2009%20Rhode%20Island%20Equitation%20Finals/album/Adult%20Mini%20Championship/slides/R9-0624.html)

I realize none are that amazing, but I don't show much, and when I do 99.99% of the time there is not a photographer...so I have to make do with what I got!

What a fancy pony! I love the plain Jane fence pic. It's such a classic looking pic. Your form is pretty and your pony looks so pleasant. I also like the #2 award pic because you've got such a nice smile in that picture. They're all nice pictures, though. Good luck choosing from them!

I like the first pic too. Both awards pics are nice. And my god, could that ribbon be any longer!?! Never seen one that long before!

Oh and congrats! Your horse is lovely!

Thanks all! He is actually not my horse...just a sale horse that walked into our barn at the same time I was searching for a horse to ride. Luckily his owner let me work something out and I "leased" him for two weeks so he didn't leave the barn until after finals. Unfortunately he leaves on Wednesday, but he is an awesome little guy!

In the awards pics I'm smiling like an idiot because I had just chased after the trailer as it was pulling out, so I could have a horse to do the gallop on! I didn't think I was placing because I had a low score... But after loading him I went back down to the ring and was watching the rest of the trips, joking with my friends about how I hoped I didn't ribbon since so many low scores were being announced and I was horseless...when they called that everyone with a score over 59 should be ready to enter the ring for ribbons! Needless to say I booked it, and luckily the trailer was just pulling down the driveway so I ran after waving my hands and explaining what was happening. I hurriedly got dressed (I'm missing a collar, spurs, and my hair is falling out on the other side) and we threw tack on Tucker (hence why he has a fuzzy schooling girth on), and I walked into the ring just as they were calling my number and placing. Needless to say I was laughing to myself the entire time they were handing out ribbons.

I like the Plain Jane fence one, it really showcases your equitation. Both award pictures are great but I prefer the first one because you can see the writing on the jump and I just like the zoomed out look overall.

Have fun picking one! I love picking my own show pictures out :D

You were very fortunate to have Harry photograph you.
