Of the top ten horses after the first day of dressage, three are sire line Mr. P. #1 is by Conquistador Cielo, #8 is by a Miswaki son, and #9 is by Fappiano.

Tomorrow is dressage again, so the placings will undoubtedly change. But it's still interesting how well the Mr Ps are doing in dressage at one of the very top events in the eventing world. And all 3 are full TB. :)

Thanks for the info!

I didn't realize Tru Luck was from the Mr P line.

Because I am such a huge fan of CC - we have a JC mare in foal to Rubiano(Fappiono) for an event prospect.

Turns out that the database I was using was either wrong or I got the wrong horse.

Annie Jones's Truluck is by Maha Baba, son of Raja Baba, out of a mare named Grayfully. This information comes from the USEF.

The RAJA BABA line is one of the most prolific TB lines for Eventing.
The following stallions from this line have all been near the top of the USEF Eventing Leading sires list.

MAHA BABA
IRISH SWORDS
KIBE
RAJA's BEST BOY
NEPAL

They have also done well as H/J sires

Our mare is by Raj Kapoor who is also out of this line, she's been a great dressage mount but would prefer to be a hunter, and I understand her full brother was doing exceptionally well as a hunter in Ontario, she's out of a mare by Buntspecht.

Raj Kapoor also sired Garry Roque's Olympic eventer Hakuna Matata (sp?). And from what I understand a number of other successful eventers.

How very cool! Our white TB colt who is our future stallion prospect has both Raja Baba and Fappiano! I can't wait to see how he is when we get him going under saddle.:)
Our buckskin going grey stallion also has Raja Baba up close and he's in training as an eventer right now and showing great promise.
