Does anybody play horse sim games?

I currently play Horse Eden Eventing. http://www.horseeden.com/index.php?referral=6

It's a brand new one and I didn't know if anybody was looking to play a new game. You can breed, train, show horses with riders. It uses real life genetics for the colors of the horses too!

My question is, can you be too old for horse sim games? I even bought a cheapy horse game for my son's DS. LOL Gotta get my horse fix somehow!

hahaha Well, one of the other games I used to play, someone said something about people being too old to play. I'm 33 and love playing Eden, but didn't know if I was just weird or not. hahaha

Well, I'm 32 and somehow got myself addicted to the BellaSara "adventure" game. . .could spend hours planting those stupid plants and going on errands to find recipe ingredients. . .very little of the game so far seems to have to do with horses.

That hasn't prevented me from getting hooked, though.:lol:

I used to play that game. Just didn't like certain aspects of the game so left. There are actually quite a few HAJINCers on this Eden game.

Just thought I'd update this thread. I'm still playing! LOL I'm very addicted to this game and it gives me a nice break from real life and lets a nonhorse owner like myself get a bit of a horse fix!

Its always breeding season on HEE. Once a mare has been bred, of course, she can't have a foal until the next month, but if you capture a PPP mare (like a star on hajinc) no matter what the date, you can breed her!

My DH plays an ipad horse SIM game. Not sure what it is called, but he makes sure to brush, feed and exercise his horse daily, and competes over fences in what looks like a western saddle. I am pretty sure his horse has a neurological disorder, but it has lovely flying changes.

I used to play HAJINC but left because the owner is totally fruitbat insane. I played happily for years - and spent $$$ on upgrades - and then ran afoul of one of the owner's sockpuppet accounts. Some fairly nasty stalking & bullying followed.

LOL I LOVE Bella Sara! I have a bazillion cards and horses. :) I'm also a webkinz junkie. Have all the webkinz horses and dragons. I pretend I get them for my kids, but they are for me. :D

I used to play Hajinc too until it got so I was afraid to post anything that even resembled an opinion on the forums. As soon as HEE opened up I moved over there.

The Second Life network has quite a few horse-related sims/regions. Some have horses that you just care for, some have places you can ride a cross country course, others just have nice areas for trail riding. I think there are all-out role-playing areas there as well, with a horsey-theme.

Just be careful what you type into the search bar. . .or be sure the "adult" box isn't checked, or you may get some nasty results as well.:eek:

I haven't played them in probably a decade, but they taught me the basics of web design AND horse showing when I was still years away from riding full-time. There was one girl in particular in the home-grown game I played that taught me so much real-world knowledge, I'd have been a disaster without her. I'll never knock them as a result!

I play Equination and Howrse.

I used to play Equine Ranch and loved it (truly, an amazing game), but the Admin is/was insufferable.

I also played HFSHC for a few years way back when. The website is still up but the layout is the exact same one Dana put up before I quit in 2006... does anyone know if it's still alive?

Everyone should check out HFSHC.COM! It's the best realistic sim game around!
