I'm currently looking for a Warmblood stallion for my mare who is no larger then 16 hands, Dressage type. I don't want to go frozen semen this time around or want a stallion who throws color in both white and dilute. If you can send anything my way, I would love to take a look.
Thanks!

I am not sure if he is still a stallion, though.

If you are thinking PONY sized, what about some of those GRPs? Some of them have great Warmblood lines in a small package. It can be hard to find an approved WB stallion under 16 hands since many of the German registries require size.

Hierarch is smaller, but it looks like he may not be standing anymore.
Prince Optimus is around 16 hands.

OKW Entrigue looks like a very nice. http://www.oakwerth.com/okw_entrigue.asp

I have a Donarweiss colt from this year out of a black/white tobiano mare - mostly white, who doesn't have a speck of white on him. Gorgeous foal.
Popeye, a Westphalian registered GRP, approved ISR/OLNA has produced quite a number of stunning foals, one of whom was Reserve Champion filly at Hilltop this past week. She is out of a Grosso Z mare and is BIG, but definitely won't go over 16h. She is also gorgeous. I have a gorgeous Popeye filly out of a 15.2 mare and one this year out of a 16.2 mare who will be inspected later this month. The inspector raved over last year's foal.

I have yet to see any GRP throw what I wantNot at all argumentative, but really curious. What do you mean by that? Size? Temperment? Movement? or something I've never thought of?????

There is a Benno's Dream 2 yr old colt out of a 16h TB mare down the street from me. He can move! He will not remain pony size. The TB mare is back in foal to Benno's Dream with hopes of getting a filly this time.

This may be too "outside the box", but my stallion Lexington is 16h, homozygous black, with no white, and doing very well at dressage. But..... he's a Friesian Sporthorse, which may be too outside the box for what you're looking for. He's an Elite Book Friesian Sporthorse, and Approved for Breeding as both a Friesian Sporthorse (FSA) and American Warmblood (AWS).
His webpage is here (http://www.riveroaksfarm.net/Lexington.html) and more photos are here (http://www.riveroaksfarm.net/LexingtonAlbum.html), and he was recently featured in a magazine article on Friesian Sporthorses which you can see here (http://www.friesiansporthorseassociation.com/article_Breed_of_the_Month__Friesian_Sporthorse.pd f).
He's also got fabulous semen, great conception rates, and a very reasonable stud fee.

I have yet to see a neck set that I like and this breeding, neck set is VERY important. I'm also picky on movement and there are some who are close to the movement that I like, but nothing I have fallen for.

A very impressive young stallion whom you should take a look at is Edison, owned by JustBay on this board.
He is beautiful, elegant, athletic, and producing stunning babies.
Just gorgeous!
I can't say if he is right for your particular mare, but such a lovely young stallion.

Do you think neck set is a pony problem in general, or a GRP problem? I wasn't certain which you were referring to, and I'm not really familiar with ponies. There are nice non pony options posted.

Vinca is only 15.3H. I saw him at his stallion inspection: he was both a lovely mover and very personable on the temperment end. He had a foal that did very well at inspection this year....Hilltop I think??

From the inspection thread/09 filly: Edelweiss (Vinca/Argus) 8.0/8.0/8.0/8.0

Redwine is only 16.1, so a little bit taller than you'd like. However, he is Dressage bred, and can most definately move like a Dressage horse. He's got an awesome neck, and seems to really pass it onto his foals.

Thanks for suggesting him Nancy but Wally is well over 17 hands. His son Wizard WF is just shy of 16 hands at 3 1/2, so I think he'll pass beyond the height maximum also.

The right ponies are out there for neck sets, I have one bloodline that I'm using right now on one line of ponies that has everything that I want, but this line I want to keep at the 13:2 hand mark.
What I'm trying to breed for in this line, is for the same look, but at 15:2 hands. So, it's going to be interesting to see what I get when I do find the right stallion. I'm still looking, hopefully everything comes around by November! LOL!

I LOVE Redwine! I'm really thinking alot about breeding my mare to him. How old are his oldest foals?
