Is anyone else thinking attending the Hanoverian Breed Orientation course in November? I am seriously thinking of going, but when I add up the costs, it's a bit frightening, especially since I'm a "one foal a year" kind of breeder. Do you guys think it's worth it? Anyone have ideas on cheaper hotel options?

I am definitely planning on going. I don't own my own property and I only have one newly acquired mare (and she will hopefully double as my riding horse), but I think it will be worth it to me. I am especially interested in bloodline discussions. I can't really help out with less expensive hotels; I live in the East Bay and plan on coming home most of the nights. I will probably stay one night, but I have someone to share the hotel with. I'm really excited about the seminar. :)

I'm seriously considering going... it's to be in Sacramento right? I'm only about 45 minutes from Sacramento, so it wouldn't be too far of a stretch :)

I'm totally clueless about the geograpy of North Cali. I have a sister who lives in Tiburon. Is it feasable to drive from there to Sacramento every day?

I can't make it to Ca., but still interested in the class. Maybe you can make it something online (also) or just written information discussed. I, too, and interested in bloodlines.
