I am just curious when you time your vaccinations for. Things are a little different here than in other parts of the country since we're so dry and rarely have cold weather, so when guidelines for vaccinations say to time them for just before peak mosquito season I start wondering exactly when that is.
I've always just vaccinated in December for EEE, WEE, Flu, Rhino, Tet, and WNV, and when I was showing I gave Flu and Rhino a second time in June, per my vet's recommendations. What do you do?
Is peak mosquito season for us still spring and summer like other parts of the country? Or is it winter since that's when it rains here? I'm in the inland empire, so we do get the occassional nights below freezing, but is that enought to actually kill the mosquitos for any length of time?
