I did a search and couldn't find any video of this guy, there was a reference to it on the Oldenburghorse site, but that doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know of any? I would also like to see a conformation photo.

Here is the owner's website: http://www.nordsee-hengststation.de/ Are any of the frozen dealers planning to carry his semen here in the U.S.?

He looks gorgeous and I would expect a horse with his pedigree to move well. What are your impressions & thoughts? Who has seen him in person and how does he stack up to other stallions out there? When will his first foals be on the ground?

Thanks in advance!

First foals are already on the ground. I have see him when they had aquired him I believe.

So no one has seen this guy at any stallion shows, etc? Opinions? Anything?

And edited to say: Alexandra, what did you think of him when you saw him? How was his movement & temperament?

Cheers!

I have seen him twice, last year at the Oldenburg Hengste Parade and then again at Rastede this summer, where he either won, or came second. I love him. Very elastic, nice swing, expressive gaits. Looking like a future upper level horse. Hind leg could be quicker, but not bad. One of my favorites for sure. Do not know about frozen semen options though?

I have also seen him. He looked super and was one of my favorite from his year in Oldenburg. After seeing him, I have been very interested in breeding to him. His movement is really quite good and he himself has a lot of shoulder freedom.

I saw one foal by him in the auction that was very pretty, refined and leggy, but little knee and not the flashiest mover in the elite foal collection. I am therefore myself interested in seeing more foals before making a decision, and if I was to go ahead at this point, I would be sure to breed him to a mare with a lot of knee and a fast hind leg if the goal was to get a top dressage foal.
