Why would you use this in a show hunter? It appeared on my girlfriend's meds bill. Neither of us know what it is or what it is used for. Bottle also says Lacto-15. Help please.

I hadn't heard of this one, but a google indicates that it's vitamin B15, and increases oxygen uptake, aids detox, and reduces lactic acid formation.
Lactanase to prevent muscle soreness and tying up is dichloroacetic acid, so I imagine it's close to the same thing. Lactanase is pretty commonly used.

I found something else that said Brewers Yeast contains it.
Good question.

what CBoylen said...it works well on pssm horses...and many show vets prescribe it for its supposed "making them quieter" properties
