My gelding has finally done in his SLT fly/gnat sheet. The mesh held up, but the bottom part that is not mesh is just shot.
He needs one with a neck, and he loves to scratch himself on pretty much anything and everything. What has anyone had luck with?

Kensington with the attached neck cover? Kensingtons are practically bullet-proof!

Are the sheets better than the fly masks? All three of mine, including one who doesn't rub her face, have pretty much shredded their fly masks.
Thanks for the suggestion!

My horse went through three fly sheets the first year I owned him (granted, he was four years old, but still - three of them??). The Rambo sheets work best for us. He's made it through the entire summer without any problems. Here's the one we use:

If you google it you can find good prices. I can't recall what I paid for mine - maybe $139? But it is well worth it.

Ty, what other brands did you try? Do the Rambo sheets help with mosquitos?

I've had good luck with the Schneiders, but I take it off daily.

I LOVE my turtleneck fly sheet, it's pretty durable and comes with a detachable neck cover.

Spot, which schneider's sheet do you have? I was looking at the mosquito sheet last night.
