I am hoping someone can help me figure out how to work these monsters (Oster showmaster variable speed). I ordered them from Jeffers this spring, but due to getting the wrong clippers in the order, then a broken set, I missed getting to use them this spring to shear the goats.
Well it was time to shear the goats again yesterday. I was kind of scared to use the clippers because they're so loud, but I did it. I got one goat done with no problems. When I went to shear the next goat, the head of the clippers came apart. So I got that figured out and then they were running normally and nothing was coming loose anymore. I started to shear the next goat, but nothing was happening - they wouldn't cut through the hair anymore and would only tangle in it and cut out frizzed out pieces. I tried adjusting the tension, but that didn't seem to help.
What could be wrong with them?
