We got some hand-me-down show clothes. Now, she's not in a show anytime soon, but insisted on wearing these duds to the barn. So here she is with her new duds and her pone:

She wasn't riding yet, so hadn't donned her helmet yet. She looks nice in formal-wear!:D

Oh my - what a dangerous combination.

An adorable child and cute pony with a bushy forelock.

SarahandSam: it was one of these $10. saddlepad deals from horseloverz.com, I think. I don't remember what brand it was; only that it was (blessedly) small enough to use with the pony saddle. It's stood up to almost two years of use now; I'd say we've gotten our money's worth, and more!:yes:

Thanks for the nice compliments, everyone. She's thrilled with the new clothes...now to find some kind of a walk-trot class somewhere...hmmm!

Thanks! She loves her little pone - it's going to be a sad day when she outgrows him (and it won't be too terribly long, either, as he's only 10hh.) He has been a really good beginner's pony for her.
