What do you think?

A little rough and ready here and there, but the horse is only 7 years old. I'd be thrilled to own him, or ride him. :D

I saw all the rides in person, up close, both days. Cabana Boy was by far the most uphill, fluid, engaged, on the aids. Some others had very good parts, or a few really special moments, but his was the best test and horse at the level. He was the only 7yr old in the group. Yes, there were a few upward half halts to help with the balance, and slight bobbles, but best overall. If you watch the tests from last year at this level, you see the same picture, horses at this stage of training need more help from the rider as they are still "developing" (that is why the class is called that) the strength in the collection. I was up close for all of last year's show too.

I'm sure that Contucci's phone is still ringing off the hook....

The test looked amazingly fluid and all the movement quite easy for Cabana Boy as only a 7 year old. Kudos to him and Chris -- congratulations to Hilltop for developing him so well, and to the breeders!
