I'm in the process of designing some new show jumps to add to my ring and would like to see everyone's favorites? Preferably more Jumper jumps than hunter jumps, but any pictures would be appreciated :-)
TIA

Ooh, that's really cute and looks like a fairly simple design. Added to the list :-) Thanks!

Not sure if this link will work or not because I know you have to have facebook to see it, but these jumps are awesome!

My favorite is the bicycle jump at Spruce. In my case, a mini-version of it. :)
I wish I could find a good pic of it.

Yeah that one is really cool. Hmm, I could get it designed (which would be so cool), but what I wonder what a practical height would be? There is something called the "Hickstead Gate" but I can't find a proper picture of it. Anyone know it?

I droll over just about every jump he builds. I especially like the Moose Jump and the Trees with Wavy Planks.
His Jump Fan page on Facebook.

I love this one!
Rubik's Cube (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=79763&l=f1266aa602&id=1640370101)
I think it would look neat with some little styrofoam rubik's cubes or something of the sort underneath. Or some neat coloured planks.
OR. The Bull (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=79754&l=4caf904af5&id=1640370101) Lol. :) It was used as an island in these pictures but it was actually a set of standards with each half on one side of the jump. Jumping right into the bull definitely threw off some of the horses. A couple falls, lots of spooks. Still super cool standards.

My pictures are from the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair in (you guessed it) Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. It's the biggest local show of the year and draws some of the bigger Canadian names like Mike Grinyer, Garry Brewster, Karen Cudmore, and Albert Kley. It's lots of fun an absolutely my favourite show that I've been to so far. The whole thing is indoors and since the whole complex is connected we basically don't go outside for ten days. Kind of a nice break from nasty Manitoba winters!

I knew the ring looked familiar! I spent a summer riding and showing in Manitoba, I had great fun! I think I showed at a big summer show in Regina, but don't quote me on the location.

It could have been Regina, they have shows there, but it isn't in Manitoba! Hahah :) Regina is in Saskatchewan. So unless you traveled it was probably Winnipeg or Brandon. There is also a Brandon Summer Fair in the same complex as the Winter Fair except they use the outdoor rings. Even though the weather in Manitoba sucks, it's definitely a fun place!

Whoops, I had Regina on the mind because I did purchase my EQ horse from there, believe it or not. We went to look at him in February and it was so cold that the camera didn't work! But yes, it was the Brandon Summer Fair, I had great fun showing there.

I saw one that looked as if it was made of legos before! The standardes were large collums and the jump itsself was a wall of legos! :)

I wish I made them myself, unfortunately I don't. I have a friend whose husband makes jumps and they asked me for my "wish list" so to speak. They made beautiful huntery jumps for me last fall and now it's time to add some more jumper type jumps. Their website is: http://www.toprailjumps.com/. They are very very nice people.

This is not the best picture but it was the only one I can find:
Infiniti Standards at the Royal Winter Fair:

I also like the Butterfly Jump at Kentucky Horse Park
http://www.risingstarfarm.net/Cielo_B_jump_KY_resized.jpg
Looking at the butterfly jump, you could have the basic gates built and have interchangeable pieces to slide in where the butterflys go. That would be a less expensive way to change things up!

They look really cool in person, too - our PC bought some. However . . . the service sucked; missing pieces took months to show up & phone calls like crazy. There's only the one distributor in the US.
