I am debating on getting some, but wanted to see what everyone has to say about them.
TIA

Very comfy, and not so nice that I feel bad about using them every day. Zippers are still like new after a year of 3-4 rides a week.

*assume you are talking field boots? or maybe paddock boots is what you meant.

my daughter has a pair and likes them. I won't wear anything but the challenges :p I can't bear the pain

I wear the lace paddocks all day with NO problems, and I have very picky feet! (long and narrow and very tapered with high arch and no heel- everyone says it's a dancers foot)
I"m not sure they're my very favorites to actually ride in, I've actually managed to lose a stirrup twice in them (or perhaps it is ME?) but I prefer them to other Ariats to walk/coach/bum around in.

I've had mine for over 3 yrs and they're just now starting to get worn out(zipper won't zip and they look beat up around the toe). There are still no holes though! I'm looking for another pair!

I have a pair of the newer ones with the round toe and love, love, love them. They're the brown lace up ones and I think they look great with my Treadstep half chaps. I get lots of compliments on them both.

DD had a pair for her first pair of tall boots and they held up fine for her and I think she wore them almost two years until they just got way too short!

I had my first pair for less then a year when BOTH the zippers went out in less then a week of eachother! >:( I was only mildly angry.
Additionally, I found them to be very big in the ankle and towards the knee...I'll stick with my 7 y/o vogels. :)))

LOVE mine. I got the tall boots w/out zippers. Too much dirt around the barn, and it makes zippers break easily. My satisfaction comes in part from the salesperson, who convinced me to buy a pair in a completely different size than I expected. I thought the calves were too narrow and too tall. The first 6 rides, I needed a friend to pull them off and the back of my knees killed. They did break in beautifully, though, and I am often asked if they are custom made.

My one disappointment is that the lining inside by the heel has not stood up as well to wear and tear - after about a year of being worn 2x week, the lining has gotten all torn up. This has not affected my comfort, though.

I bought them about 3 years ago and for the price I think they are nice. held up well. But I much prefer my grand prixs now :)......i dont think the heritage presents the greatest profile but not many boots do at that price point

Ive had mine for about 2 years now and they have held up very nicely. When I polish them for shows, they look brand new. They are a little boxy in the ankles, but for 200 dollars, they are an excellent value!

Have them and love them. Mine are pull-ons--got them used for $80. They are skinny enough and short enough for my weird legs and look like they will last a long time. It felt like the bargain of the century!

I am on my second pair. I use them as everyday boots. I have a pair of Vogels that are about 14 years old, that need to last me another 20 years or so, for showing! My first pair, one of the zippers broke after a little more than a year. I called Ariat and they told me to contact the retailer (Dover) for a repair bag. I did and they fixed it free of charge and I didn't even have to pay shipping. About a year later, the other zipper broke. I didn't contact Ariat, because I figured it was too long since they had been bought, although they should last a LOT longer. The boots themselves are still in great shape. I love the simplicity of the zip ups, but if the zippers don't hold up in this pair, I am going to have to give up on them. I've had these for several months. I really like them, obviously, since this is my second pair. They take a bit of time to break in and can be uncomfortable to walk in until they are well broken in. After that, I can wear them all day. Until they are broken in, I put them on just before I get on and take them off just as soon as I am done riding. I feel that they are a nice fitting, good quality, comfortable (once broken in) boot at a reasonable price. My one complaint is that I need the extra wide calf, but am tall, so I could really use the extra tall, but they don't offer the extra wide in extra tall. What only short/regular size girls have big calfs? They aren't way too short, but the extra tall would be better on me.

I have a pair that I adore but they don't fit me, so I'm looking to sell them.
They broke in super easily, very comfy, with a zipper.
