yasha shoe?

My new blacksmith glued on Yasha shoes on my horse yesterday. He has low heels and no walls. They were a bit on the pricey side but he claims it will help my situation. Anyone else other than Big Brown tried these new shoes? Are they helpful?

You might try cross-posting on the Racing forum. Many TB's are racing in this shoe now and there are a few trainers on that forum that might be able to give you their experiences.
