I'll be there with my gelding, assuming we get this foot issue worked out!
Have you received email confirmation of your entry? Just want to make sure mine wasn't lost!

Has anyone gotten any type of entry confirmation? Times should be coming out Wed or so and I haven't heard anything...

I'll be there riding three and coaching several - yes, it's going to be a little nutty. Fingers crossed for good footing and good trips for everyone.
Inquisitive - I don't know if I've ever gotten an email confirmation for the starter ht. I wouldn't worry about it. From past experience, as long as your entry was in before the end of the closing date, you're in. I've even known Penny to take pretty late entries for this show.

I'll be there Saturday morning helping Penny give out packets, and DH and I will be starting and timing X/C on Sunday as usual. Hoping that we will be celebrating having Willie (my Arab who had the two surgeries for SCC and then laminitis) back home with us!!!:D

Thanks BlueRidge!
I swore I had gotten one when I entered last year and was a bit worried because I had to scratch and applied that entry fee to this year, so just wanted to make sure everything was taken care of
The horse is sound and feeling great, so looks like I will FINALLY be getting down to the horse center!
I tried looking for info but wasn't able to find much. Could someone give me a little briefing on stabling there? We'll be hauling in early Sat and staying the night. I think I had read that they had solid doors so if you want to can bring a stallguard? Where is trailer parking in relation to the stabling? Do you leave your stuff there overnight?
I'm excited for my first overnight in a LONG time (since I showed ponies :p )

Will they have someone around to direct me to stabling?

Hi. I've never actually stabled at the HC since I live only two minutes away, but I'll try to answer your questions best I can.
The stalls have sliding doors, and the fronts and doors are all like a wire mesh. Most people usually just shut them, and hang their fans on the fronts of the stalls. I'm not sure if you could use a stall guard, not sure if there are hooks for one. (Someone else on here surely must have stalled there and know that?)
When you turn in the Horse Center main driveway off RT 39, the stable office is straight back. There are two other shows here this weekend, QH and appy's, so it will be fairly full. The people in the stable office should be able to point you toward your stall - not sure what barns our event horses are using.
I imagine they will have you park your trailer on the hill after unloading. There may be spaces in the parking lots if they aren't already taken - the QH show started already.
If you are worried about leaving your stuff at the HC, you are welcome to bring it to our house - then you could check out your accomodations for the fall HT
Let me know if you need exact directions off of I-81 - glad to help in anyway I can.
