This is probably a silly question- but I don't remember every seeing anyone use a fleece pad that has the fleece in front of the pommel AND behind the cantel. Does that make sense?
I really want to buy a nice fleece pad, but not sure if I should just get it with the fleece roll in front, or front and back.
Anyone know if that's a problem?

Any type of English pad is correct for dressage, shaped or square, so the fit for your saddle and horse are your only concerns...but do use white or black, (or the nice color of natural fleece) just to make ME happy, :)

Can I steal and ask if it's okay to use a pad with a logo on it? I have a white pad with a horse and name embroidered on one side, or I have a plain black pad. I'm assuming go with black for dressage.

Good question Amanda- I know you can get your initials or Breed symbol embroidered on dressage pads. I've seen many top riders with that on their pads.
I'm guessing it's fine, unless it's just big and gaudy. We'll have to see what others say...

It's a bay horse and says Halo Wild Fyre on it, bought it at SmartPak. I'll be doing Pre-BN and BN and don't want to look silly at my first event.

Well....I am not into the monogrammed "MY NAME IS..." pads for the judged segment (dressage), and the whole purpose of numbers is to let the judge take note of your number, without knowing the name of horse and rider (obviously, judges will know better known riders and horses)
I'd tend to go plain over embroidered, subtle is always better IMHO. No flames, all you "WELL! I have a monogrammed pad!" folks....it's just my opinion. :D

I'll stick to black then :D

If you are talking about something like the Mattes half pad where you can get rolled in front, or rolled in front and back- the answer is it doesn't matter. Get whichever you like better.

That's it exactly!
