So I'm vacationing in Portland / Salem area. Are there any great tack shops that I should not miss or lets face it just tack shops. Who really needs an excuse to get new horsey stuff.:D

Gallops Saddlery is very good. You should DEFINITELY visit DevonWood Equestrian Center. State of the art, incredible dressage facility. Google those names to get directions! They're both within easy driving distance from Portland.

I second both those choices. Glissans is a bit out of the way (at least for me when I am passing through) but a definite place to visit as well.

I also endorse Devonwood! Amazing setting - exquisite amenities! You won't find many other equestrian centers like this.
