Raleigh Sport Horse Breed Show - who's going?

Just curious....I'm hearing the show may be down in entries this year and wondered who is planning on going. We're taking this year's Sir Sinclair colt and our 4 y/o Royal Prince mare. It's been a hard year for so many financially, but I sure hope we can continue to support this breed show in Raleigh!

I have been looking for a youngster all summer. I thought if I found one before the closing date, I would have taken him/her. I think that would be great fun! but alas, it is not to be. :( I can always go to watch, I work only about ten minutes from the horse complex.

Virginia Tech will be there with two of our 2009 fillies. Looking forward to it!

Volte - which two fillies are you taking? I was going to call this week to schedule a visit to check out three of your fillies before the Hokie Harvest Sale (not sure if they are in it actually.) since I'll be in Blacksburg before then.

I'll be there with my 2 yr old colt, and a friend that I board with is also bringing her 3 yr old Friesian cross colt. Hopefully it's a little cooler by then! :yes:

It slipped my mind -when is the breed show (dates)? I will be in Raleigh in the next couple of weeks and would like to come watch....won't have anything to bring until next year.

The date for the breed show is Labor Day - Sept. 7.
