Wanted: Sweet, bombproof packer in NJ

Looking for that one in a million pony that you don't want to let go. I have a wonderful family with a beautiful farm (new barn, big pasture, ring) that is looking for that special pony for their very timid daughter. Daughter is beyond horse crazy, but is very fearful when mounted. She is making great strides towards overcoming her fear and is now looking for that special pony to continue the journey. Pony will have more love and care than it will know what to do with. This would be a lifetime home. If you have anything suitable, please feel free to contact me with pics etc. reasonable driving distance to NJ is helpful :) The little girl is joining Pony Club and doing leadline classes at local shows.

The little girl is a tall 7 year old. We'd consider anything really, quiet and tolerant and capable of teaching w/t now and canter in a year or so.

Check out Saddlebred Rescue. Located in NJ, they often have child-safe horses. They're wonderful to deal with, have a trainer whose only job is to work with the rescues (and she has a young daughter herself who rides the beginner horses) and are as legitimate as it gets, having won the USEF Heroes for Horses award in 2006. If they don't have what you're looking for listed on their site, contact them anyway. They'll stay on the lookout until they find what you need.

Actually i'm looking for 2 small or medium ponies for free lease or give away. Need 1 for walk/trot job and another for SS move up to 2' next year job. Great, loving show home!
