Wonderful big kind liver chesnut gelding for free adoption. He was purchased out of the slaughter pen through AC4H, so their basic transfer of ownership contract would apply. 'Randy' was a long time buggy horse, but has come around nicely with saddle time and remembered alot of his training. He has a lovely floating extended trot to die for and is working hard on getting more consistent with his canters. He is sweet and quiet, but still unpolished. I have used him occasionally for walk-trot lessons, but he really deserves a person of his own to give him a more consistent ride. We tried him on a trail and he was very nervous and tense, but its certainly something he could work on. He drives nicely and is quiet as can be to cross tie, tie, groom, trim feet, etc. He is approx 8-10 y.o. and 16.2 H. Dark liver chesnut with star and 2 matching socks behind. Potential adopters are welcome to come out and spend lots of time with him and ride.

Also, misunderstood little pony looking for a home. I bought her @ New Holland, they had no bids and I raised my hand for $30. She was sold as broke to ride and drive but she knows neither. She was very nervous and flighty from someone beating on her, but has come around to be kind and sweet and tries so hard to do what you want. She is a Hackney cross and a yellow buckskin with beautiful lighter brown eyes. About 11 H and only 5 y.o. Sweet little gal ready to be someone's pet or partner.

Trying one more time for gelding -

8 y.o. American Saddlebred gelding available for adoption or free lease (onsite or off site). Lower level dressage prospect, riding partner, all-around great guy. Ties, crossties, quiet as can be. Kind and sweet, drives nicely also.

That is a wonderful gelding. He could do a million things, for so many people.

You should call that gal who looked at the gelding last week- she needs this horse!

I casually mentioned he was the only other thing that was young enough for her (and actually looking for a home also) and he wasn't fancy enough for her....

Eeeek, nothing recent for the pony pictures. Here she is on Week 1....

That, folks, is what 30 bucks buys you at New Holland.

She is much prettier in person, especially now. If I'm being really tough, she toes in a bit in front and toes out a bit behind, and her back is a bit long, but she really is a pretty little thing. She adores attention when we get her out and she tries so hard to make friends with those she's turned out with.
