I am presenting a Bugatti filly at an AHS inspection and I need to come up with a "B" name "toot sweet" (whatever that means...), but anyway, REAL FAST. We call her "Bella", but am thinking she needs to be a Bella-"something". Bella Sera? (good evening? she is very dark colored) Bella Fortuna? (good fortune) Any suggestions? I have up 'til Friday to finish the paperwork. so any suggestions will be appreciated. She is a beautiful black/bay filly, very tall, very elegant and sweet. When she was born, she was such a little "pistol" that I nick-named her "Bella Pistola". But, now, she is so mellow and easy-going, that, though "Bella" has stuck, "Pistola" has not. Italian just isn't part of my general lexicon.

What is the dam's name? What about Bella XXXX (taken from the dam's name or dam's family)? Or Belle something? Belle Starr was a female outlaw from the Old West - maybe a bit like your "little pistol".

BTW, tout de suite is French for "right away", "at once", "immediately".

Bella Notte

I like that too! Reminds me of the song from Lady and the Tramp, you know the one where they're sharing spaghetti?

Bugatti was a famous French manufacturer of luxury and racing cars.
I think you can use a French name, like DownYonder suggested. (Belle is the French for Bella)
Belle Nuit (Beautiful Night)
Bonne Nuit (Good Niight, is also a famous TB line)
Belle Soirée (Beautiful Evening)
Belle Brune (Beautifull Brunette)

I love the phonetic "toot sweet", DownYonder is right: "at once" is the right translation for "tout de suite"

Ettore Bugatti was Italian but the company he created was in Alsace(France) in the village of Molsheim in 1909, the cars are French and were racing under the French colors.
Bella Notte is very nice.

Might be appropriate if she is destined to be a broodie!
