I know this is a shot in the dark, but I have to try...I am posting for a client of mine about a horse they were considering adopting for trail riding this summer...
*This guy needs a good home before the end of the month, then his time is up :( TW gelding, 7 yo (?), super sweet disposition (I've personally cared for this horse) In need of a home where he can be a companion/pasture ornament! The Vet says: "he has ring bone problems and serious scar tissue from injuries that have been building over time." :no:
He is not sound for even light riding. I tried him once (long before the Vet visit) and in a couple minuets he was uneven. I have observed him resting off his front right. He does seem happy at pasture and I have seen him canter off when I've turned him out. Maybe the pain could be managed with daily bute... :confused:
I wish I had the room, but I am maxed out with 10 of my own, one being a rescue from last year.
