I had a 10mm embryo at 15 days and the vet said she was probably going to absorb, since it was about half the size it should be...
23 days did another u/s and baby was still there, saw heartbeat, but was still holding my breath...
did 55 day u/s yesterday, saw head, body, heartbeat, baby is growing fine!!
Yay!!
She is in foal to Raleighs Full Moon, a cremello QH, so we are having a palomino baby! Can't wait, his babies are so pretty!
So don't give up hope if you have an u/s with a small embryo, it could very well be that Jr is fine and just taking his time to grow...:)
