What a wonderful sire. Fortunately, he's left a legacy of terrific offspring. I've liked every single one that Rolling Stone has bred. I hope there's enough frozen to continue his legacy and extend his highly desirable heritage a bit longer.

I am so sorry to hear about this. Welcome S was such an impressive stallion. I know Mo was very fond of him, and she will really miss him. I remember seeing him on several occasions and remarking to Mo that he was such a powerhouse... RIP Big Boy!

Very sorry to hear about the loss of Welcome. I still remember the night Isabell rode him, then a young FEI horse, and gave a demo/lecture on training the GP movements at the Hanoverian auction gala. I couldn't understand more than few words here and there, but the audience apparently enjoyed it a lot with many laughters through out the demo.
RIP.

I had attempted to put my mare in foal to him this year... of course she didn't take. I feel so privileged to have been able to work along side such a gentleman of a stallion. I helped/learned how to collect him several times and I can't say there was a horse I'd rather have learned on. I couldn't believe what Mo was telling me.
Rest in peace big guy...

Such a loss
We saw him in person at Mo's and he was such a showman.
I have a 4 month old colt and a 15 month old filly by Welcome. Stunning babies with lovely minds. He really put his stamp on them.

Thank you, everyone. He was a really special horse. We will really miss his great presence on the farm. I am glad he was still able to get mares pregnant this season (we used Dr. Susan McDonald's chemical collection method and it worked like a charm). We waited until pregnancies were confirmed before making the decision. He had gotten quite bad in the last few months and was in constant pain. Even still, it was a tough decision, as you all can imagine. The foals will be limited editions now and this year's fillies from him at Rolling Stone Farm were exceptional. We were honored to have had the opportunity to stand him here. Many thanks to his owners at DeHavikiwaard Stallion station in Holland. They totally entrusted him to us. We will continue our friendship even though our common link is gone. A really good one has passed on too soon.
Fondly,
Mo
