Looking for an older pasture buddy for my Dutch WB and his donkey friend. Someone needs to keep the donkey company when the horse is gone to shows, etc.

Prefer gelding, utd on EVERYTHING. Should be very easy to handle and have good social skills. ;)
Will have a very, very good home.

Springfield, IL area please. No out of state prospects. ;)

FREE please.

We have an 11 year old TB gelding who has been lame off and on for the past year and a half and we are looking for a good home for him. He is really a good boy. We bought him for my daughter when she was ten and she did a little bit of eventing and dressage with him for a couple of years before he went lame. She now has a dutch warmblood and is focusing on only dressage. Max is totally bombproof and at this point we feel the best option for him is to be a pasture buddy and possibly an occasional trail horse. My guess is he will never stand up to the rigors of showing again.

We live in Champaign Illinois and the horse is stabled nearby. Let me know if you would like more information. I am using my daughter's trainer's account, if you would like to contact me directly you can at quirk@uiuc.edu . Thanks-

Hi-
I have a 9 year old TB gelding that currently goes out with my 28 year old and "his" minature donkey Leo, that I am looking for a home for. He is the sweetest horse-great manners-he has pulled his DDFT behind and needs a year off. He was eventing when he got hurt and is GREAT on the trails. A very pretty horse that is UTD on everything. My husband is a race track Veterinarian and the reason I am looking for a home for him is that although we have our own farm, we go to New Orleans for the race meet for the winter and board down there is close to $1000/horse. It has also been hard to find someone responsible to take care of the horses here. So-I am giving him away to a GREAT home only...I am more than willing to bring him up to Illinois if he sounds like something you would be interested in. PM me if you would be interested-he loves donkeys!

Hi,
I have a 21 year old TB mare that needs a home. She raced and then was a broodmare. She is finding it hard to live in my large mare herd, so I am trying to find her a retirement or breeding home that is less stressful to live at. She is super sweet and loves attention. Current on care, easy to work with.

My phone number is (309)376-2144 and my email is tlschmi@ilstu.edu. This mare, Flying Cy, is loacted in Carlock, IL (near Bloomington/Normal). Please email or call if you are interested in hearing more about her.
Thank you,
Alyssa
