Can you turn a dually non 4 wheel drive into a dually 4 wheel drive. I have moved to an area that is VERY sandy and I hate to get rid of a perfectly good, PAID FOR truck if I can modify the one I have.

Not easily or cheaply I am afraid. Hubby did this to a truck about 20 years ago when the Chevy 4x4's were really popular...he only did it as we owned a salvage yard and had the parts readily available. It turned out pretty good and we drove it about 3 months before selling it to work out any bugs. The guy we sold it to still has it.

Unless you have access to a junkyard and all the parts...ferget it...not a good idea...and if you have to pay for labor...nahhhhh just trade it in and suck up the fact you now need a 4 wheel drive. You will end up owing less and will have a truck that actually runs n drives.
