I bought a Beval Heritage Fancy Stitched Bridle a couple of months ago but I also want to get a figure eight noseband attachment for it. I don't need the entire figure eight bridle.. just the noseband. The problem is Bevals say they don't have any (in oversize) in the United States and need to get one from England, but that it will take a while.
So I was wondering if anyone knew of a tack store that carries Beval brand and might have the noseband. Phone numbers/web pages/email addresses would be appreciated!!!!

Barrington Saddlery in Barrington, IL carries at least some Beval stuff. I don't know if they have bridles (having just never looked), but I know they carry some of the saddles. If you Google them they are the first hit and they are wonderful to deal with!

The Riding Shop, 516-364-3311, carries Beval bridles, in fact they have a Heritage figure 8 bridle there right now although I don't know if they have just the noseband piece. Lots of tack shops carry Beval's though, it shouldn't be that hard to find.

Also try Saddler's Row in Palatine, IL. They definitely carry Beval bridles. Good luck!

You do know there are two Heritage figure 8 bridles, right? One has fancy stitching and is raised on the noseband, the other is flat and no fancy stitching. They don't have either in a figure 8 noseband in stock?
What about buying a Hadfields noseband? The color is almost identical to a Heritage. Or else substituting a Beval Stamford figure 8 noseband?

Yes i know there are two different styles and I am looking for the raised fancy stitch which they don't have in stock. I really want to get the Beval Heritage one because it matches so perfectly.

And I like the plain, flat Heritage figure 8, it is simple and elegant. IMO the raised with fancy stitching is just too much. I guess you can always wait until Beval gets more in.

I have found things that needed to be ordered from England, in their show trailer at VSF. So if you know anyone near one of the show trailers give it a try.
