Does anyone know what one would usually pay to audit? (Just a ballpark figure; I know I'd have to contact the venue for a specific rate.) I'd love to attend one of his clinics, but my horse and I are nowhere near 3'.

The audit fee for the Texas clinic is $75, I believe.

Can you audit just a certain section, or must you stay through the entire clinic?

For the one in MD it's 80 for all day

I'm planning on attending the one in Texas. I think it's $75. I guess I'm asking if I can arrive later and not be there at 8am. Would that be rude? I've never audited his clinic, and I know he's particular...I'd hate to be arriving late and upset him.

A have a few friends who will be showing there and are auditing the clinic, and it's $75 I believe. But 600 bucks to participate in the clinic!? I didn't realize his clinics were that much.

I just realized its actually $75/day for auditor. So $150 total.

And yes its $600 for two day clinic per participant and then $100 for two days of stalls and $6.75 for bag of shavings.

Which day is the Tyler, TX clinic? I've been hearing different days. I emailed who I thought was the GM clinic coordinator (but not sure) and she said it was this Saturday....I've also heard it's Labor Day. Which day is it??? I can't find a website.

It is actually $50 per stall (if needed), which includes BOTH days/1 night in between. Those needing stalls are welcome to bring their own shavings; the $6.75 is our cost directly from the local feed store. ;)

The money is worth it to audit..A lot of people take pen and paper to draw his excersies and take notes....

NanO- It's in Tyler, not Dallas. Not sure why it says Dallas.

Anyone else going to the Tyler clinic? I have no one to go with. :(

I'm going as is one of my students. Zugabe, want a ride? I own a mustang so it's pretty tight quarters.

It's in tyler and it's $75. It says come and go at your leisure. So since the show is going on I am going to take full advantage of watching some of the classes as well.

COTH meetup anyone?

I live in Tyler, but I'd love to meet up. I PMed you with my number. Call and we can meet up. The barn I train with is riding there too. I went out and watched some classes today.

I'm so confused because the show bill said Sep 6, which would be Sunday. But I keep hearing Saturday.

Don't know if I'll audit, but I'd like to stop by the GP tomorrow. Any clue when it is supposed to kick off?

I am planning in participating in one of his clinics. I only own 2 pairs of tan breeches, and the clinic carries over a course of three days. would george mind if I wore maroon colored tailored sporstmans?

I'll be attending one of Mr. Morris' clinics this winter. I am an older ammie, just returning to hunters/jumpers/eq after a 3 year hiatus. What advice would those of you who have attended one of his clinics recently give regarding preparation, attire, tack, anything else ?

Like you would for any horse show: SPOTLESS!

Your horse should be gleaming, trimmed, and ready to present to a judge.

Your tack should be spotless and appropriate (workmanlike) and should fit your horse correctly - no excess stirrup leather hanging off, everything in keepers, should be properly cared for. Preferably no orange tack.

Your own attire should be unobtrusive, conservative, and properly fitting. Hair must be up and out of the way.

I emailed the camden equestrian center to inquire about the january clinic about 2 weeks ago but have yet to get a response. has anyone else tried signing up for that clinic or dealt with the camden equestrian center before? I am pondering whether to email again.

I would email again-that clinic fills up so fast!!! She will respond as I looked into it last year but you need to sign up this month. It was full by October last year.
