Due to my freakishly long legs, I have an extremely forward flap on my saddle. I'm having a devil of a time finding fleece show pads that fit under my saddle. I prefer the Dover pads with the little sticky circle under the flap that keeps the pad from sliding around. Dover's pad in their most forward model leaves less than a 1/2" around the saddle, and in some places, no fleece shows at all. It looks like crap. It looks like I have no fleece pad under my saddle at all.

Anybody have a suggestion on a fleece pad that is extremely forward, a bit on the large size that will fit my saddle to provide a fair amount of fleece around the flap and has those little sticky circles to keep the pad in place?

I'm desperate...thanks in advance for your help.

Honestly, I would suggest switching to a half pad. I have the same problem, super long legs that require a very forward flap. With a half pad you don't even have to worry about the flaps and they stay in place much better than the fleece show pads.

I have two saddles with very forward and long flaps, I use medallion pads- they look great! Also, Beval makes 'custom' ones to fit all of their butets, so maybe give them a call?

Check out Seamsright.com They custom make forward flap pads. Not cheap, but they look super nice.

I would also suggest the half pad. I always use them in the eq because it's a quick switch from my jumper get-up... baby pad w/half pad over... loosen girth, slide out baby pad, voila, equitation class appropriate :)
