I did search for a while but it would have taken for ever to find just want i want.
Other than Capital Challenge, where are good places to go before indoors with decent coliseums. It could be similar to the Kentucky Horse Park which is open a little bit. Anywhere around zone 2 would be great, even would travel to VA and CT for a good indoor. Just trying to save some money but still get him inside before then. Thanks in advance!

A little farther than you want to go, but the NC State Fair is the same week as CC.

What division do you compete in? The Big E in Springfield, MA has hunters and some low level jumpers in the colliseum, but not much for equitation.

Many kids go to "the big e" for just that reason. While it really doesn't offer the big eq, I know kids who go and do the junior hunters or the jumpers just to get their horses into a coliseum before indoors/equitation finals. Entries close soon - 8/15, but the show runs 9/30-10/4. If you're an adult, I believe there is both AA & AO hunter divisions.

Swan Lake Stables in Littlestown has a couple of B shows in either late Sep or early Oct. They call them "Indoors before the Indoors". Check out their web site.

I love the Big E!! The fair is a lot of fun! I have been going for years and doing the junior hunters to warmup for the eq finals. Except this year the USEF Talent Search Final is the same weekend :(
Same weekend as Capital Challenge too

Maryland Horse and Pony, September 3-6. It takes place at the same facility as Capital Challenge.

The Big E in Springfield is a great start. I'll be there =]. A couple of fried oreos from the fair after the ride totally does it for me!

Thanks guys.. I was planning on going to Maryland horse and pony until i found i had other plans so now i was finding something else. The Big E is 7 hours from me and while the indoor is bigger than the one in Syracuse i might be headed there! I love swan lake and so does my horse but i was really thinking more along the lines of seating and stuff.
