I beleive both of these guys are in NJ.. Their owners are great, and would like to find them perfect homes.
Both need time off, but could be at least pleasure horses after a few months. Both have had some knee soreness.
The gelding (just castrated about 5 wks or so ago) - Franks Pride, had surgery around a year and a half ago. He has been ridden daily by a 14 yo, for the last 6 wks, and he has made tremendous improvement (soreness wise). He should have around 3-4 months off, or in light work (as he is now). He is not swollen, and is not sore in the field. Goes best right now stretching long and low, and is perfect with a gram of bute. 6 yo, liver chestnut. 16h, no vices!
Little Genius-- stallion.. Powerhouse! Owner is willing to pay for castration, but his breeding and race record could make him a stallion for a small race business. He does have a small chip, and a ver slight fracture that is healing well on its own. The chip has not been removed, but it shouldnt be an issue as a low level pleasure horse. Wonderful personality, and easy to get along with.
I do not own these horses, but their owner asked me to find a great home for them. If your interested, please let me know, and I will send you some pictures.
References a must! Lay-up/light work in the beg. for both boys is a must!
