Flashy is an 11yo, 16.2 1/2H TB mare (but don't hold it against her). We owned her for several years and she now belongs to one of my beginner students who is leaving for college in two weeks. This horse is a saint and is not marish AT ALL and you would never know she is a TB. She trail rides anywhere, is not spooky at all, her favorite speed is walk, and has the best ground manners you could ever ask for. We've trail rode her all over our farm bareback in a halter and lead rope. At shows, she needs no warm-up. She has schooled up to 3' and has a ton of show miles at 2'6". HOWEVER, she has gone blind in one eye and has trouble seeing natural colored jumps. I would rather see her not jumped. Her flat work is A+ and she's schooled through first level Dressage and is so easy to teach. Her ideal home would be someone that wants a quiet horse they can have fun with on the trail or doing flat work in the ring. She is not sour at all and is the first one to you in the field. She is an easy keeper (is in good weight and is not getting grain right now - she'll eat about 6lbs of grain during the cold winter). We would like to find a free-lease for the next few years while her owner is at a 4-year college.

She is adorable LM and sounds like a saint!

(and any horse named Flash is a good one in my book!)

Is this horse still available? She would be perfect for a friend who recently lost her horse to colic. Could you pm me with a phone no. I'm local to you. thanks.

Would this mare trail on her own? Or must she be in a group?

Thanks!

She trails rides alone or in company. It doesn't matter.
