Free lease (not resale): Fuzio is a solid, well trained gelding. He is a 9 yr old chestnut. Honest 17.1 hands. Great on the trail. When he is ridden regularly you can put anyone on him. Automatic lead changes, has jumped 6 ft (by a pro), shown at 4 ft (by a pro). Jumped 3 ft by me (when tuned up)- close eyes, grab mane and he makes it feel like a big canter stride. But needs a confident rider or to be tuned up for jumping anything. He is a big gentle goof ball, really fun to be around. I do not have time to ride and enjoy him. He is in his prime and it's a waste for him to be just sitting in a pasture. He has shivers. His shivers is mild, only noticible backing or starting from a standstill (still not a dressage horse- even though his extended trot is fun). He needs to be in a large area, stall with large run ok but large turnout/pasture where he moves all day is best. He gets along great with other horses. May be good in a lesson program, he loves people and isn't one to pull pranks on the flat. I will check references and have a no resale/free lease and return contract for you to sign.

Video includes a clip under saddle, on the ground when nervous (shivers becomes more notable) and on the ground when handled quietly and Fuzio is not nervous: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDBRHPwb_rk

More pictures of the big guy! Yes that is a hanoverian being roped off of! And I really love the pic of him sharing his goodies with one of his little buddies.

He will always have a place to come back to if he doesn't work out because I will always take him back. If serious- I can send pictures or answer any questions. If there is no interest in the big guy don't worry he has a forever home with me- I just want someone for him to have fun with!

The large pasture in the picture was 200 acres that he shared with cattle and three horses. He has also been used to sort cattle and bring cattle up out of the pasture. He has been used to pony yearlings and two year olds.

This is an e-mail I just sent out to an interested party, it may answer a few more of your questions. Fuzio is built and bred to do dressage, however with shivers if you were at the halt and he side stepped at all he would probably raise his leg and stomp and then walking off out of a standstill (especially if he was nervous) he would also probably hike a leg and stomp. But he will do lead changes and even a choppy canter pirouette just as eager as a kid in a candy store. He likes being held together and pushed around with a leg but has enough go that you aren't dead tired at the end of the ride. He's also just as happy with a loose rein. Are you at all familiar with shivers? It is something that I would think takes some getting used to. Both of his owners, my boyfriend and I, have owned him since he was 4. His shivers has not progressed. We were the first to ride him and pretty much do anything with him. He has always been willing and easy. If you have any questions feel free to ask away. Also we are planning on getting him back some day, so if your interest in him lasts for 5 days or 5 years he will always have a place to go.

MayDayTiger- You can send me your info and any questions. I would like for him to be closer, if the lease doesn't work out, however I am considering all options.

Would you be interested in donating him or letting a University's IHSA program use such a wonderful horse? I am the coach for a relatively new equestrian program in South Carolina and we are actively looking for horses for the program that can be ridden on the flat and over fences. We are in the process of building an amazing facility which includes 3 barns, outdoor arena, covered arena, and ample pasture. Please reply at mhughston@lander.edu if you are interested or would like more information. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
