My lesson have been going well:) Beautiful pulls at the canter sooo my trainer might try a differnt bit but not a kimbewickle.

My pony also has rainrot all over her from all the rain sooo im going to have to give her a bath and wash her all over incud. her legs once a week.

Well it is always my opinion that you feel fabulous when wearing tall boots and you will probably ride better.

Not to mention that you'll be much more comfortable when you ride in them at shows. I never ride in anything else any more.

I wear tall boots and britches in lessons. Also riding in tall boots makes me not so grippy at shoes because I am used to riding in them. Now trail rides...still prefer half chaps!

Giving her baths won't just fix the rain rot. Get some MTG and put it on the spots that have rain rot on it.

Actually both names are acceptable. The bit that is called a Kimberwick in the US is known as a Kimblewick in the UK (and possibly other places that I am not aware of)

However, I think Tiff just doesn't know how to spell it correctly. (What she wrote is neither Kimberwick or Kimblewick but some other mangling of the word)

I spell Kimberwick like that or Kimberwikki, or whatever but when we all read it we knew exactly what Tiff was talking about anyway ;)

same here. it's going to be 100 on sunday when i ride though, so i think i'll have to go back into the paddock boots.
