So I really have no right to complain at all , since things have been going so well for me this summer. (finally!) I mean I been able to do three shows, which is more than I've done for the past, oh, I dunno, 5 years or so, not only that, I have a fantastic trainer who has totally built up my confidence, a fantastic horse whom I love to death, who tries his heart out for me.
Anyway, said horse is shark withered TB with some muscle atrophy in his back due to poor saddle fit, we figured starting from his race track days. [insert long saddle saga here]Anyway, I finally found a saddle fitter I really liked and consequently ordered a Black Country saddle, custom fit to him (O' happy day!) So I've been waiting ...and waiting...and waiting....for this saddle to come in...nada. Was hoping I would have the saddle for at least the last two shows that happened over the last two weekends. Nope.
So I called them and asked nicely if it had come in (I mean they said 4-6 weeks, and it was well over two months ago when I ordered it. Apparently they put in a order for new market, instead of dark brown...oops! What can I do but chuckle at that? Slightly frusterating, since my horse really needs it; but it will be so worth it since they will do a fitting when it get here (apparently it just left England :D) So here's hoping that it will come in before my last show of the year!
