Deciding between the Pikeur Doreen and the Eurofit Aachen (in the micro, not wool). Going with navy, velvet collar, silver piping. Anyone have either of these coats? Pros/cons, tips on fit? I am leaning towards the microfiber if I get the Aachen....should I consider the micro/wool blend?
Thanks!

Bumping - no one has one of these coats that they could share their opinion on?

Well, I'm by no means experienced in either brand but I will share my very limited experiences..
Pikeur Doreen does not fit me because I have short waist and long hip. I think it is built for longer body shape than me. The Eurofit micro is rather thick. That might be good or bad for your climate. Where I am, I need something very light weight so I am going for the blend. The pro is it is washable. Both wool blend and pure wool requires dry clearning. The pure wool is heavier than the wool blend. I cannot remember how Eurofit Aachen fits me but I'm very pleasantly surprised that Eurofit Ulankra fits me rather well.
Did you try either? I mean, both are rather nice but I'm sure they will fit differently for you.
By the way, EuroFit is a German brand and German is having a one month holiday for the whole August. So if the store does not have your style, they cannot even find someone in German to talk to to see when you will get your coat...

I recently bought a Pikeur Diana, black, 14L, but after putting it on realized that I really want the navy. There is something about the way this coat fits me that I'm not liking, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it is where the waist hits - it's about an inch above my belly button. Should it be lower for proper fit? It feels long in the "skirt"....but I need a long to get anywhere near my waist, and even then I will have to get the sleeves let down. Should the "skirt" hit right where my legs meet my butt?
The main issue is that I can't go try stuff on. There is ONE tack store that has any english stuff at all, and all they have for that is a TINY selection of hunt coats and some consignment saddle seat stuff (former owners had Arabs). Uggghhhh! I'm so frustrated!

generally speaking the jacket does cover your assets ;)
personally I love the Doreen look, but I had no chance to try either.
