See this thread (http://www.chronicleforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=217757) for background. :(
We are likely going to need new barn homes for many of the resident feral and semi-feral cats at Pimlico, assuming we can rescue any of them before the track management traps and euthanizes them. If anyone can take a few more experienced barn cats, please let me know. Some of them may be friendly; others are likely true ferals. But we can provide all the supplies needed for their relocation and guidance about how to transition them.
Not sure how many cats were there to start with, or how many will be left by the time we can get in there, but perhaps as many as a dozen. All will be fixed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, and vaccinated.
