I just finished putting up some electrobraid fencing. I have a area, not very large, leveled for an arena. I have some left over material so in stead of getting metal panels or wooden fencing I am thinking about using the electrobraid for the boundaries. I like the cleanness of the electrobraid. Any thoughts pro or con?

When we moved to our own farm eight months ago, I didn't have the funds left to spend on making a riding ring. But as it is only me and my family here, well I decided to use the wide white electric tape and posts to make a grass arena. I used some wooden posts in the corners and on each side, for stability and strung the tape. It has worked out very well and my horses respect the tape. I think the whole area with posts and tape for a 100 x 200 area cost me approx $150.
Very cost effective and took less than a day to set up.
Works great.

I know a woman who has a similar setup- but its with her permanent professional ring. I personality love it! I feel like there's no possibility of escape, so much better than just an open area. It looks nice, has held up very well, and I feel very safe riding in it.
