Here is an interesting story about the carbon credit and the regulations and possible advantages of having livestock, a plus industry in some of it's facets for carbon credits.

I wonder if horses will also qualify for that?:)

I know we can get some carbon credits just by having land in pasture.:yes:

Interesting. Looking at the website info though it looks like only food animals will be eligible. . .

They are just starting with that and reworking the regulations as they go, so maybe if horse people ask, they will be included.

At least right now we can get credits for grass pastures, no matter what species we graze in it.:yes:

That's excellent. Cows are one of my favorite foods, anyway.
