I am looking to take my 4 year old ottb to hunter or jumper (preferably jumper) shows in the next few months. He is young, so I am looking for the lower rated shows, or jumper shows with puddle jumpers/schooling jumpers, or anything below 3'! I was wondering if anyone knows of good shows in my general area (Nottingham, PA, basically as southeastern in PA as you can get before being in Delaware/Maryland). Delaware/Maryland/New Jersey shows are good too, as long as they aren't too far of a drive! Thanks!

Pickering Hunt Pony Club has low level jumper classes at Ludwig's this Saturday -- It's a pretty relaxed show with hunter riders not required to wear jackets --

Berk's Equine Council has their jumper show this Sunday -- I believe that's usually in conjunction with a fair --

There's a CCHSA show with jumpers in the covered ring at Vince Dugan's on 8/15 --

I believe they have jumpers starting at about 2'6" at Ludwig's Corner Labor Day Weekend --

OVCTA has 2 shows left in their series of h/j shows with 2'6" - 3' jumpers --

Google or check http://www.horsedelval.com/August%20'09%20Calendar.pdf for more info --
