"Trovi" is looking for a new home! He was given to a student of mine to potentially be an eventer for her, but he isn't going to hold up. He is about 16.1 hands, black, and one of the sweetest horses I've ever seen.
He has some soundness issues that will prevent him from being in heavy work. He has an old bow on the R front, but it is so tight you can hardly see it and it causes him no trouble at all. His soundness issues are in his hocks. He is totally sound right now, and would be a great lower level dressage or pleasure/hack horse. Wouldn't hurt to have his hocks injected either though, and keep him on a joint supplement.
He is green under saddle but is very very quiet and laid back. He hadn't been ridden in about 6 months and I got on him today and he was just as good as gold. Doesn't buck, rear, spook (Will look at something scary but keeps on going!!).
Again, I can't emphasize enough what a sweetheart this horse is!! He would be great for someone looking for a friend! He is barefoot right now and his feet look great! He is a little tender crossing the driveway, which is gravel, so if he is going to be on trails or hard ground would probably need front shoes.
Very easy keeper, only eats 1 handfull a day, and is out on great pasture. Gets along great with others horses, realy easy going.
He was a stallion up until November. He has no babies on the ground and he didn't act like a stallion when he was one, so he certainly doesn't act like one now! His owner is just looking for him to have a good home where he will be loved! He really will make someone a great horse!
I can give you anymore information you will need or want. Feel free to post here, PM, or e-mail me at briandkev6306@yahoo.com for more information. He is located in Southern Pines, North Carolina but can move elsewhere!
I've attached a few pictures of him too!!! These were all taken today!
