24 went. Start time moved up due to impending deluge. Deluge after teh class.

I thought the original course had interesting bending lines and no real bogey fence. The jumpoff had one critical turn and one gallop fence. The winner nailed the turn, second nailed the gallop...

Me and my friend went and watched today...it was certainly a blast! I love watching Hillary ride...she rode 4, got 2 in the jumpoff. 8 went in the jumpoff...overall, very well ridden. Lots of horses were having rails at a long-ish approach oxer, and barely any at the giant brick wall. As the OP said, the jumpoff really just had a critical turn and gallop fence, other than that it was pretty safe.
